JC Watson Company received its name from its founder back in 1912, when he established a produce company in southwestern Idaho. For more than 90 years, we’ve produced, packed, and marketed Spanish sweet onions — by 1929, JC Watson was noted as a trading member in The Produce Reporter Co. listings. That makes our company one of the oldest trading members in the produce industry, and the only onion shipper to be listed for more than 75 years.

Over the years, we’ve narrowed our focus to only onions. We pack for several private labels: Our own Watson Brand, Soo Brand, SooRing, Jim’s Best, Trail Blazer, Treasure Valley, and, most recently, the Watson Organic Brand.

In 2010, we created two additional companies. JC Watson Company focuses on the packing, selling, and shipping of onions. Watson Agriculture Inc. focuses on growing and producing a sound, superior onion for our customers.

These companies have allowed us to grow and better serve our customers. As always, we use state-of-the-art equipment for growing, storing, packing, and sizing onions. We’re always looking for new ways to innovate and lead the industry, and we’re committed to upholding our reputation for quality, integrity, and constantly exceeding the needs of our customers.
