Proper storage is crucial to the success of our Onions 365 process. We use top-of-the-line, high-tech methods to ensure that are onions are stored at the perfect temperature and humidity levels, extending their shelf life and providing the quality chefs and consumers rely on throughout the year.
Onions love low humidity, and it’s the most critical factor in retaining crispness. Our storage facilities are carefully controlled for both humidity and temperature.
We imported our unique bin storage system from Europe. It’s the first of its kind in the United States, and we’re able to customize the airflow through each bin for peak freshness. The box design and climate control ensure that the onions harvested in the early fall last until early summer.
Weather changes, but we’re always one step ahead of the game thanks to our computerized climate control center. It responds to fluctuations in temperature and humidity so our onions are always at an optimal 37 degrees.
